We added four new ROATx certified ECVS trainers at the completion of the training. The Sunday training is for TDH Registered Opticians who have successfully completed the Saturday training, and are currently members of ROATx or COAT of Houston and desire to participate in the Early Childhood Vision Screening program as ROATx Certified Vision Screeners of children between the ages of one and four years of age.

The Saturday training is always open to anyone desiring to become a Texas Department of State Health Services certified screener. At the successful completion of this training, you will be Certified by the Texas Department of State Health Services to screen the school age children using a chart system as mandated by the State of Texas.
